Italian Yellow Earth is a semi-transparent deep golden yellow with good tinting strength, medium grained that makes beige half tints. This yellow earth is quarried in Northern Italy. This color is based on the natural mineral goethite associated with varying proportions of other minerals, such as clay, chalk and quartz. Rublev’s natural yellow earth is semi-transparent, absolutely permanent and has fair covering power.
